(Day 29): Newspaper Art

IN TODAY’S HEADLINES:

Newspaper art fun for all

As noted on yesterday’s blog post, below is my “Octopus” Newspaper Art. This craft was inspired by Allison from “Crafted Love”: The Blog. For a photo-tutorial, CLICK HERE.  Thanks again, Allison.

Here’s what you need:

A canvas (or foam core board)
newspaper clippings
glue
Paint (black or any color you like)

Here’s what you do:

1. Rip/cut newspaper different shapes/ sizes
2. glue to canvas. Let dry
3.Paint picture or scene. Let dry.

I can’t draw very well, so I had to practice.  I guess it turned out okay. It’s intended to be a octopus, but some people thinks it’s a spider. What black, white and read all over? Not this paper; because this is ART!
