Day 2- Color

Day 2: Color

Ode to Green

From apples to zucchini, and everything in between,
many things are associated with the color green.
Commonly used to describe things fresh and clean,
but that’s not all it can mean.
Money, hope and health, all fit the bill,
but surprisingly it even describes someone whose’s ill.
It’s the color of a watermelon jelly bean.
It symbolizes  the envy of an ugly queen.
The color of luck, to cancel out the number thirteen.
It symbolizes nature and all that is serene.
Oh the fun, oh the thrill!
Try it on your own, if you will?

* I actually wrote this a while ago (oops) but revised it today.
